  5. Welcome to S.T.S. conference. This is an open forum for all people that are
  6. interested transportation services for disabled people and adaptive devices
  7. used by disabled people for their vehicles. Handicap parking can also be
  8. discussed as well. This echo can be a wealth of information for people that are
  9. looking for information and support on the transportation needs of disabled
  10. people.

  12. The rules of the echo are as follows:

  14.  1. No foul or offensive language will be allowed. Although it was painful
  15.     decision for me since most of the time I use it to describe public
  16.     transportation ;-), it will not be allowed.

  18.  2. It is an open forum, but you have to stay on topic. You may tell about your
  19.     experiences (and I got tons of them!) that you have in dealing with public
  20.     and private transportation, and I would like to read them!
  21.  
  22.  3. Play nice! Everyone here has an opinion about something, but one thing will
  23.     be stressed at all times: THERE WILL BE NO FLAMING! You may express your
  24.     opposing viewpoint but don't make it a personal war or vendetta against the
  25.     other person.

  27.  4. There is only one moderator --- ME! Please leave the moderating to me only.
  28.     If you have a problem, please netmail to me. My fido address is 1:135/388.

  30.  5. Handles, or alias, are allowed, but please provide your name if requested.

  32.  6. Having a good sense of humor is required. If we can't laugh at our problems
  33.     and experiences, we'll go insane! (And I'm already there! 8-> )

  35.  7. This echo is not to be gated to any other echomail systems. You must have
  36.     my permission first!

  38.  8. Keep the quoting to a minimum. Too much quoting is going to lose people.

  40.  9. Try to spell correctly. I know that we're human, but sometimes a spelling
  41.     mistakes can entirely mess up your message. This rule will e loosely
  42.     enforced

  44. 10. Failure to stay on topic or abide to these rules will warrant a warning
  45.     from me. Failure to abide to my warnings from me will result termination
  46.     from this echo.

  48. These are the rules for now, but they are not written in stone. I am open to
  49. anything if you have any suggestions. If you want further explanation or don't
  50. understand the rules, you may ask. No question is a stupid question!
